Our style of cooking reflects modern British trend with tastes of European influence, acknowledging the passing seasons.
Our a la carte menu offers an interesting balance of starters, mains and desserts, together with vegetarian and daily changing table d’hôte menu produced by our chef Frankie Manners and his team of dedicated chefs, the restaurant is open to the public from 7am Monday to Friday and from 8am at the weekend where you may find any thing from a full English breakfast, lunch /dinner bar snacks or tradition Sunday kitchen carvery from as little as £7.95 per person (Sundays lunch only) served from 12pm to 2:30pm, pre booking advisable.
Our produce is sourced locally where possible, 90% of which is homemade, 2% of our waste is recycled to be increased to 5% by 2011. Our meat, fish, fruit and vegetable purveyor are local, visiting the markets daily; seasons pending, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are locally sourced from an abundant of farms and the local coastal areas.
Specially chosen from Thurston Dairies Suffolk, sorbets and ice creams, locally produced cheese, Buxlow Paige, Binham blue and Suffolk cheddar gold, some of which are produced on our doorstep in Baylham just a few miles from the hotel.
